from printing company to modern marketer

fifty years later, customer service is still the cornerstone

How did a small commercial printer in Anderson, Indiana, grow into a full-service distributed marketing company?

Back In 1970, a 25-year-old Linda Stafford made a payment arrangement for some equipment and founded Quality Printing. Linda would go door-to-door during the day to collect printing orders, and then go home to care for her two children after school. In the evening, she returned to work to print the orders.

Soon she gained a reputation for great customer service and her customer base continued to grow and grow. She added typesetting to the services in the mid-1970s, made investments in larger printing presses and technology, and expanded in both size and scope.

As the company continued to grow, Linda’s son, Steve Harney, eventually joined her after 4 years of service in the U.S. Marine Corp. Steve later purchased the printing business and renamed it One Point to reflect the growing number of distributed marketing services requested by customers.

Fast forward to today, and second-generation owner Steve continues to take an active role in the company’s growth by investing in technology and talent to make it easier for customers to manage their marketing supply chains.

Every day, One Point evolves to meet the needs of customers in an ever-changing marketing landscape.
